Introduction

Disturbances in the Leylines have awakened the Magna Hermetica, a secret society made of practitioners of occult crafts. Become a Leywright, collect relics, and unravel the story behind The Hermetic Archive!

This is a standalone mobile collection game with GPS- and pedometer-based gameplay. You take the role of a Leywright, whose objective is to travel the world (quite literally) in search of rare artifacts. During your journey, you will be presented with various disciplines required to fulfill your collections: botany, lithurgy, alchemy, artifice, and shamanism. Walk anywhere to find resources; reach further to find rarer ones.

Phylosophy

The main idea behind this game is to allow players to play asynchronously during their daily lives, while avoiding mechanics that force them to keep looking at their phones for long periods of time, like other similar games do.

For the same reason, this is an offline game. I'm not running a server or any online feature, and that's by design. That doesn't mean there won't be social features. In fact, I'm attempting to design these features in such a way as to encourage players to play together, but physically (like the ancients did).
